Mattel is a toy company that produced HOT WHEELS™ miniature cars for more than a generation, and an estimated 41 million adult males today grew up using these cars. Many of their products, which included muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s, are collectors' items today. Its 1969 Pink, Rear-Loading Beach Bomb is estimated to have a value of $175,000 as of 2019.[1]

Matchbox[edit]

Originally a British company as founded in 1953, Matchbox produced many miniature cars that are collectors' items today. Matchbox was acquired by Mattel in 1997.
