Myst

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Myst is a popular computer game released in 1993 that was at one point the best selling computer game ever.[1] It is a "point-and-click" adventure game, in which the player travels around various areas clicking on objects to solve puzzles. Each screen is a static image with a few interactive points, which will either move the player to the next screen or alter something in the environment in some way. It is especially notable for being one of the first computer games requiring a CD-ROM drive, due to its graphics.

Since the original game, Myst has had many sequels including:

  • Riven
  • Myst III: Exile
  • Myst IV: Revelation
  • Myst V: End of Ages
  • Myst Online: Uru Live
