Newt

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Newts are amphibians with four legs, and a tail. They are outwardly similar to lizards, despite being members of a different class of the animal kingdom - they can regenerate limbs, but unlike lizards, they have soft slimy skin when they are in their eft state but once they venture onto land their skin becomes rough and dry. Most newts are poisonous if consumed.

A young newt is called Eft.
