Noel Gallagher (b. 1967) is an English musician best known as the primary song writer and co-lead vocalist for Manchester-based rock band Oasis. After the dissolution of that band in 2009, he formed a new band called Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
Gallagher is generally liberal; for example, he supported New Labour and Tony Blair in the late 1990s. He also endorsed Barack Obama's 2008 United States presidential campaign. He stated in 2015 that he still considers himself "left-wing", but has increasingly voiced opinions that are at odds with the leftist agenda.
On the other hand, Gallagher criticised the state of the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn, whom he labelled "a lunatic".[1]
Since 2020, Gallagher has spoken out against the establishment totalitarianism in response to the Chinese Communist Party pandemic, such as refusing to wear an ineffective face covering.
In 2021, Gallagher expressed support for Prince William and blasted Prince Harry, who Gallagher called a "woke snowflake", and his narcissistic, liberal wife Meghan Markle.
