From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Oakland County is a County located northwest of Detroit. The county's current population size is 1,202,362, and the county seat is Pontiac. It is the second most populous county in Michigan, after Wayne County, where Detroit is located.

Formerly a source of suburban moderate conservatism, Oakland County has gone in support of the Democrat Party in recent years[1] and went for Hillary Clinton even though neighboring Macomb County strongly supported Donald Trump.[2]
