Path

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

A path is usually the visible surface of a route between two points and may be purpose-built (such as a road, sidewalk or footpath), or just a worn or trodden track.

A path can also be a course of action or conduct: e.g. the path of righteousness.

It may also refer the course or trajectory of a moving object, such as the path of a hurricane, or the path of a planet across the sky.

In computing a path refers to the hierarchical directory sequence which defines the location of a stored object in memory.
