Pest (county)

Pest is a county in the centre of Hungary. Bordering the counties of Nógrád, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Bács-Kiskun, Fejér and Komárom-Esztergom and Slovakia. As of 2016 Pest has a population of 1,217,476 people. The capital city of the county is Budapest (which is not part of the county) and the biggest city is Érd.[1]
