Piety

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Piety is the quality of being religious or reverent. Corporal and spiritual works of mercy are also called "acts of piety and charity". The word stems from the Latin term pietas, which more accurately translates into Filial piety. The religious aspect of the term stems from the adjective pius, which translates into "holy" in Late Latin.
