The Priesthood is the power and authority of God given to men on earth. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, there are two divisions of the priesthood; Melchizedek priesthood and Aaronic priesthood. Worthy male members of the church participate in sacred priesthood ordinances, such as administering the sacrament and baptizing.
