Quincy Jones (born 1933) is an American jazz trumpet player, arranger, conductor, and music producer. He has won 27 Grammy Awards. Jones has worked with a wide range of musicians, including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, and Dizzy Gillespie. He has also composed music for dozens of movies and television shows, including In Cold Blood, In the Heat of the Night, Mackenna's Gold, The Italian Job, Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, and Cactus Flower. Jones' autobiography Q: The Autobiography of Quincy Jones, was published in 2001.
