Red River

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Red River (1948) is a Western movie that some consider to be the greatest ever. Starring John Wayne in a more complex role than usual, the film features a long cattle drive from Texas to Missouri and the conflicts among the cowboys along the way.

Its musical score is one of the best musical soundtracks ever, by the same composer, Dimitri Tiomkin, who did the successful soundtrack for High Noon:

Red River has been compared with the classic Mutiny on the Bounty (1935, remade in 1962 and 1985).
