Screenplay

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

A screenplay is a written script for a movie. A typical format is 90-120 pages long, in Courier 12pt font on letter size, hole-punched bright white paper. Each page should correspond to about one minute of screen time. Wording should be spaced so that it is clear who says what, and how the characters should act. Comedies are usually 90 minutes while dramas can be more like 120 minutes.[1]

Many major studios, such as Amazon, Netflix, and HBO, appear to require that screenwriters submit screenplays through agents rather than to the studios directly.

Screenplays can be inexpensively bought and sold online, including many scripts for famous movies.[2]
