Sex-Selected Abortion occurs when a female foetus is identified in the womb by ultrasound and aborted because the parents want only to have a male child. The practise is common in China, India and some third-world countries. An estimated 10 million unborn baby girls have been aborted in India.
Some Chinese and Indian women go to the U.S. to the Fertility Institutes of Los Angeles and Las Vegas, which is headed by Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg, to have sex-selected abortions.[1] U.S. feminists have remained silent on the issue of sex-selected abortions being performed in America.
