Shigeru Miyamoto (born November 16, 1952) (age 70) is a video game designer and employee of Nintendo. He created Donkey Kong, Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, F-Zero, and Star Fox. He is largely considered the most influential figure in the video game industry, having created the Donkey Kong arcade game, further innovating this idea with the side-scrolling platformer Super Mario Bros. All of the games he has created are family friendly and contain no explicit violence or sex.
