Southlake, Texas

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Southlake is a city in Texas, a suburb within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex located near the DFW International Airport.

It is one of the wealthiest suburbs in the state. The local high school (Carroll High School) is one of the state's elite high school football programs, having won eight state championships.[1]

It is home to Gateway Church, a non-denominational, Charismatic, multi-site megachurch which claims over 39,000 active members, which would make it one of the largest in the United States.

Notes[edit]

  1. The eight titles are tied for the most among football programs, along with Aledo, Celina and Katy in 11-man and Richland Springs in six-man.
