Steven Spielberg (born December 18, 1946) is an award-winning American film director as well as one of the founders of DreamWorks SKG, alongside Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. His most famous films include E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park, and [aving Private Ryan.
He has won three Academy Awards for Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan and has been nominated for another nine.
