Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder (b. 1950 Steveland Morris) is a modern American singer, songwriter, and musician. Blind since birth, he has had many hits, his first being "Fingertips (Part 2)", recorded when he was just 13 years old. He has won 22 Grammy Awards (more than any other solo artist) and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Christianity[edit]

As a lifelong Christian who attributes his gifts and his success to God, he feels that he would not have been successful at all if it were not for his faith in Jesus Christ. [1] His faith is evident in his music, such as in the song “Have a Talk With God,” where he repeatedly sings: “When you feel your life’s too hard, just go have a talk with God." [2]
