Stuttgart

Stuttgart is the capital of the Land (Federal State) of Baden-Wuerttemberg in south-western Germany. It has a population of 590,000 and is a centre of the motor industry, being the home of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. Since 2012 the train station of Stuttgart will be rebuilt under the earth. The project is called Stuttgart 21 and cared for protests of green parties like Alliance '90/The Greens.

It is currently being governed by a mayor of the green party, Fritz Kuhn.
