Surrender

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Surrender is to cease resistance to an opponent and submit to their authority. It can be used in a military context or in a spiritual sense, such as with many forms of religion.

Military[edit]

In an orderly military surrender, sometimes "terms of surrender" are drawn up first. Some places of surrender are:

  • Appomattox (McLean House)[1]
  • Imperial Japan was announced on August 15 and signed the "Instrument of Surrender" on September 2, 1945, on the USS Missouri.
