Szeged is the third largest city of Hungary with a population of 162,621 (2016). The city is also the county seat of Csongrád county. It is located on the Tisza River, west (downstream) of its confluence with the Maros and a few miles from the intersection of Hungary, Romania, and Serbia.[1]
