Tecumseh

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Tecumseh (1768 - 1813) was a Shawnee leader who tried to create an American Indian confederacy to fight American settlers in the Ohio River valley. British support for his attacks on settlers was one of the reasons America went to war with Britain in the War of 1812.

He became an ally of the British in the War of 1812 against the Americans and was killed in the Battle of the Thames in Canada in 1813. His confederation fell apart.
