The Economic Journal

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The Economic Journal, published in the United Kingdom, was the leading scholarly journal in economics for more than a hundred years. By the turn of the 21st century, it had declined to the second tier of economics journals.

The top four economics journals in the early part of the 21st century are:

  • Quarterly Journal of Economics
  • Journal of Political Economy
  • American Economic Review
  • Econometrica

Several of these journals reflect the trend in academic economics towards mathematical or political treatments.
