The History of Sexuality

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The History of Sexuality is a scholarly and philosophical work in three volumes by Michel Foucault which advocated the "deconstruction" of conventional (or conservative) moral ideas about sexual morality. The first volume was titled La volonté de savoir (The Will to Knowledge in English translation) and was published in 1976. It was followed by L'usage des plaisirs (The Use of Pleasure) and Le souci de soi (The Care of the Self) in 1984.
