The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 Superhero film based on The Incredible Hulk comics of the same name. It is the second film to be produced independently by Marvel Studios, as well as the second film set in the "Marvel Cinematic Universe". It is a reboot of The Hulk franchise, rather than a sequel to the 2003 film Hulk. In the "Avengers" chronology, it is set after the events of Iron Man, during the events of Iron Man 2 and Thor and prior to the events of The Avengers.
