Titanic (tract)

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Titanic is a religious tract written by Jack Chick. It was originally printed in 1983, and remains an in-stock title. It is listed on their website under the subject "Basic Gospel" and also tagged as "Older Children and Adults".

The tract tells of Chester, a fictionalized passenger aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic on its maiden voyage. Chester believes that this trip will be his ticket to riches (and during the trip, he meets the famous millionaire John Jacob Astor). However, he is most glad not to deal with "Aunt Sophie", who is a Christian and has attempted to lead Chester to Christ (even going so far as to place a note in his suitcase).

Though Chester's wife is able to enter a lifeboat, Chester is left to die aboard the ship. Tragically, instead of turning to Christ in his dying moments, he curses God for taking away his chance at fortune. The final scene shows Chester condemned to Hell for his rejection of Christ.
