Victoria of Sweden

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée of Sweden, born 14 July 1977, is the current crown princess and heiress-apparent to the Swedish throne. She is also the duchess of Västergötland. On her succession to the throne, she will become the fourth queen regnant of Sweden.

She belongs to the Bernadotte dynasty, the eldest daughter of Carl XVI Gustaf and Silvia Sommerlath. On 19 June 2010, she married Daniel Westling. Originally, her younger brother Carl Philip held the title of heir apparent, but in 1980 the Swedish Act of Succession changed so that the eldest child, regardless of gender, would receive the title.
