Walt Disney Comics are a series of comic books mostly written by Carl Barks that usually revolve around mainstream Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and frequently Uncle Scrooge as well. Among the first stories include Christmas On Bear Mountain and Lost in the Andes! by Carl Barks.

Conservative-themed?[edit]

Some have pondered over whether Carl Barks himself was a conservative.^[1] Since the original comics were written and published in the mid-1900s, many of those arguably have a strong reflection on traditional values and certain hardships people had gone through then. For instance, in many stories with Donald Duck, he is portrayed as a lazy character who lacks self-discipline, and requires his uncle Scrooge McDuck to motivate work out of him. In at least one comic, Uncle Scrooge has lamented about the entitled mentality of the "confounded younger generation".^{[Citation Needed]}
