Wayne County is the most populous county in Michigan. Its county seat and largest city is the predominately liberal Detroit. Its population size according to the 2010 census was 1,820,584. Wayne County has gone for the Democrat Party in general elections for President. Despite this, there are some communities in Wayne County that are relatively conservative such as Flat Rock, though Detroit outnumbers these cities by far in population size.
