Woodford v. Ngo

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

In Woodford v. Ngo, 126 S.Ct. 2378 (2007), the U.S. Supreme Court held that a prisoner must satisfy the Prison Litigation Reform Act's exhaustion requirement for administrative remedies, 42 U.S.C. ยง 1997e(a). Filing an untimely or otherwise procedurally defective administrative grievance or appeal does not satisfy this requirement.

Justice Sam Alito wrote the opinion for the 6-3 court.
