XO Marriage

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

XO Marriage (formerly known as MarriageToday) is an American Christian ministry devoted to teaching Biblical principles related to marriage. The organization's name comes from the American slang shorthand for "kisses and hugs" (X representing the former and O the latter).

The organization, based in the Dallas suburb of Southlake, Texas, was founded in 1994 by Jimmy Evans and his wife, Karen. Their own marriage nearly ended in divorce only a few years after it began, but by implementing the principles that they now teach they were able to save it.

The organization is known for its highly popular conferences and cruises.
