Yeti

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

The yeti is an allegedly apelike creature believed by some (see cryptozoology) to live in remote areas, high in the Himalayas. Although the animal is generally thought to be mythical, ten to twenty reports of sightings occur every year.[1]

The term snowman comes from the fact that large footprints have been found above the snow line and thus attributed to a yeti.
