Entries that include educational design tools, which support educational design languages and/or educational modeling languages
The difference between educational design and modeling languages is not very clear to me. I'd say that design languages are subset regarding the scope (they should describe and educational design, e.g. in terms of a learning design. On the other hand design languages are a superset of modeling languages, since they are not necessarily formal .... - Daniel K. Schneider 13:50, 3 July 2009 (UTC)).
Some design tools can output executable models (e.g. the ReCourse editor can produce IMS Learning Design, others like CompendiumLD can't. There exist also system that include both a "design" tool that allows to define a clear pedagogical scenario and the computer-supported execution of a design. A typical example of the latter would be LAMS.
