According to Wikipedia (7/2013), “A newsletter is a regularly distributed publication generally about one main topic that is of interest to its subscribers.”

Newsletters can be delivered in various physical forms (e.g. leaflets, letters, newspapers) or electronically through email.

Software[edit | edit source]

Newsletters can be distributed with any sort of mailing list software or even using a traditional e-mail client (for small numbers). Otherwise, so-called online email marketing solutions exist...
