Brandcast is a software as a service-based content management system-integrated website builder, application prototyping tool, and hosting service. The system allows individuals and businesses to create and maintain websites, blogs, and digital collateral without having to write code.[1] Hosting by Brandcast is not mandatory: individuals and businesses can host their own Brandcast sites with their code export feature.[2]
Brandcast customers include Virgil’s[3] , Visa,[4] Collier’s International,[5] New York Fashion Week[6] and Sanofi.[7]
Brandcast’s primary competitors in the website publishing industry include WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Adobe Experience Manager amongst others. Some of these competitors make services such as design services, templates, hosting and domain registration available separately or in partial bundles.
Brandcast raised series A funding in July 2016 with participation from Marc Benioff, Shasta Ventures, and Correlation Ventures.[8]
