PRODAFT (Proactive Defense Against Future Threats) is a Swiss cyber threat intelligence company primarily known for its global fight against CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) and cyber crime.[2] It was founded in 2012 and currently has operational offices in Switzerland, Netherlands, and Turkey.[3] PRODAFT had published numerous Threat Intelligence reports publicly[4] regarding high-end cybercrime groups such as Fin7/Carbanak, Silverfish, LockBit, FluBot,[5] and others.[6][7][8]
As part of "Top 100 Swiss Startups" event by VentureLab, PRODAFT has been elected as the "Public's Choice" in the field of Security in Switzerland.[9]
In 2020, PRODAFT launched a website to track down pedophiles on the web and show their locations in real-time.[10] Pedophiles were shown on a world-map while they are downloading or watching CSAM online.[11] In 2021, the map is removed from the site as it was not possible for authorized bodies and agencies to utilize any of the personal data (IP address and location) indicated on PEDOMAP project for the purpose of locating/investigating a suspect, due to policy regulations and rules of engagement in respective countries.[12][13]
