Clydae (Greek: Κλυδαί), was a town in ancient Caria in the Rhodian Peraea. (Ptol. v. 3.), The MSS. of Ptolemy and the older editions (Pirckheymer's, for instance) are said to have Chydae; but the name is Clydae in the Stadiasmus, which places it 30 stadia east of the Promontory Pedalium, probably Cape Bokomadhi.
