The Review of Finance is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all aspects of financial economics. It is published by Oxford University Press and is the official journal of the European Finance Association. The editor-in-chief is Marcin Kacperczyk (Imperial College London).
The journal was established in 2003 with Marco Pagano and Josef Zechner as founding editors-in-chief.

The journal awards two annual best paper prizes. The "IQAM Prize" is awarded to the best investments paper published in the journal over the past year, and the "Pagano and Zechner Prize" is awarded to the best non-investments paper. The journal also awards three Distinguished Referee Awards. The winners are announced at the European Finance Association conference in August as well as on its website.[9]
