Heidelberg Laureate Forum

From HandWiki - Reading time: 2 min

The Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) is a week-long event annually held in Heidelberg, Germany with scientific, social and outreach activities[1][2][3]. HLF is a joint initiative of the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies and the Klaus Tschira Stiftung.

The most prestigious awards recipients in computer science and mathematics the Abel Prize, ACM A.M. Turing Award, ACM Prize in Computing, Fields Medal and the Nevanlinna Prize are invited to celebrate their success in the Forum and interact with the young researchers. [4]

Each year, HLF call applications from young scientists to participate in the forum and select 200 to get together to meet with laureates[5][6][7].
