Vishwarang[9] was started in 2019 by Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) as a global platform that celebrates Indian literature, culture, art, music and cinema. It is one of the biggest festivals to promote and spread Indian culture across the world. The underlying thought behind Vishwarang was to encourage global art enthusiasts and influential personalities in the field to partake in this celebration. We are keen on promoting Hindi and other language artists while providing a stage to upcoming local talents.[10] Since our inception, we have managed to applaud new artists who have the potential to make a mark in the world. Vishwarang has a strong presence and participation from over 50+ countries and tie-ups with globally renowned artists. Mainstream artists like Vishal bhardwaj, Malini Awasthi,[11] Rasika Duggal, Papon, Maihili thakur, Shilpa Rao,[12] Manoj Pahawa, Ustad Shujaat Khan, Annu Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Aparshakti Khurrana, Rajat Kapoor & Ashutosh Rana have graced Vishwarang's platform with their talented presence. It is an event that not only celebrates the heritage of arts and culture but also provides a global stage for fresh and upcoming talent. Our end goal is to honour aspiring artists and niche category artforms, enabling them a global stage and audience. Vishwarang's purpose as a cultural event is to praise fresh and upcoming talent by granting them a sophisticated stage. We are determined to shine the spotlight on the ones who appreciate the real recognition of Indian art and culture. We wish to conceptualise the vision laid out by Rabindranath Tagore and celebrate art everywhere!
