Rackspace Email is an email hosting service offering paid email accounts for businesses using their own domain name.
The Rackspace Email service started in 2001 through the privately held company, Webmail.us.[3] Webmail.us was acquired by Rackspace in 2007.[4] In 2008 it was re-branded as Mailtrust and Managed Microsoft Exchange was added to the portfolio.[5] In May 2009, Mailtrust became officially known as Rackspace Email and Apps.[6] In 2014 the Email and Apps division became known as Rackspace Cloud Office.[7]
