Vaishnavi (Sanskrit: वैष्णवी, IAST: Vaishṇavī) is a Hindu goddess and is also a Matrika goddess.[1]
She is the feminine form of Lakshmi and is considered as the Shakti of Vishnu. According to the "Durgāpūjā", "Navaratri" , "Diwali" etc., (a Sanskrit ritual manual), she is one of the 64 goddesses to be worshipped during the Āvaraṇapūjā (“Worship of the Circuit of Goddesses”).[2]
