Dolphin Pro is a social networking website software platform written in PHP, using MySQL database. Licensed under CC-BY License. Developed and distributed by an Australian software company Boonex Pty Ltd.
Dolphin Pro is packed with integrated iOS and Android apps and variety of extensions.
Originally released as aeDating. The last aeDating version was '4.1 IQ' when it was acquired by BoonEx in 2005 and transformed into social network script.
In 2006, Dolphin 5.0 released. After several updates within a year it became Dolphin 5.6.
In 2007, Dolphin 6.0 released. Flash audio/video features were included into the package by default.
In 2008, Dolphin 6.1 released. Pages builder and forum integration.[1]
In the end of 2009, Dolphin 7.0. Modules system, iOS app, Android app (some time later).[2]
In 2013, Dolphin 7.1. Quality, simplification and vector icons.[3]
In 2015, Dolphin 7.2. Responsive template, homepage Timeline, HTML5 uploaders.[4]
In 2016, Dolphin 7.3. Rocket.Chat integration, OAuth2 server, enhanced Timeline.[5]
