Matter is a Los Angeles-based dating and social networking service.[1]

History

Matter was created by two friends: Monji Batmunkh and Battushig Myanganbayar.[2] Originally from Mongolia, both friends came up with an idea to launch a voice-based social networking app while they were studying at Columbia University and MIT. Matter app was first launched in Los Angeles in December 2020.[3]

Features

Features of the Matter app include live audio conversations and blind dates.[4]
