Social democrats

This category is used only for typical 'European-style center-left social democrats' and 'very very moderate socialists'. (Social democrat is generally considered a form of modern socialist.)^[1] Elizabeth Warren are classified as 'liberals' in the US political context, but they can also be classified as 'social democrats' either externally or in the US.^[2]

Social liberals who appear to be center-left tendencies but not social democrats should use this category and use the Liberals category.
For people with strong democratic socialist personalities such as Olof Palme, Jeremy Corbyn, Ilhan Omar, AOC and Bernie Sanders, we recommend using the Socialists category.
