United States states

These States are United States states and not in any state to restate their state. They're not states the way the rest of the world (excepting Mexico, Brazil, India, Germany, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Myanmar, and Australia) means when they state states (as much as they would like you to think that states are basically like "those other states"), but in the United States, states are called states, not provinces, cantons, or counties.
