The Christian Democratic Party (The Fred Nile Group) is a minor, Australian Conservative political party. The party is, by any reasonable measure, deeply xenophobic and homophobic. It is wholly distinct from the centre-right Christian Democrat tradition of mainland Europe.

Policies and political stance[edit]

As the name implies, the party expounds Christian values, and this is reflected in their policies.

The porn research incident[edit]

In September of 2010, it was revealed that some 200,000 hits on pornographic sites had been made from the computer within Fred Nile's office at the NSW Parliament. Nile claimed that this was performed as "research." As of yet, no action has been taken.[4]
