A suppressive person (SP), in Scientology-jargon, is any person (or organization) that campaigns against Scientology, or someone who has been declared "suppressive" by those higher in the Church of Scientology organization. Scientologists believe that any action taken against Suppressives is fair game and morally acceptable. People declared suppressive can find that their lives are ruined, with Scientologists going to extreme lengths to ruin a Suppressive's reputation, personal life, and psyche.
In the official Scientology definition, a suppressive person is somebody with an antisocial personality, which (according to L. Ron Hubbard) covers about 2.5% of the population. In actuality, the Church of Scientology uses the label mainly for critics and for perceived enemies and rivals of Scientology.
"Suppressive persons" are a subset of "wogs", a term used to refer to any non-Scientologist,[1] which also happens to be a racial slur in some other contexts.[2]
