Destexhe (High-conductance state and Spike-and-wave oscillations), B. Ermentrout (the creator of XPPAUT and Ermentrout-Kopell canonical model), R. FitzHugh (the inventor of FitzHugh-Nagumo model), H. Haken (the creator of Synergetics), J.J. Hopfield (the inventor of Hopfield network), T. Kohonen (the inventor of Kohonen network), H. Lecar (the inventor of Morris-Lecar model), W. Rall (the inventor of Rall model), W. Singer (the inventor of the concept of Binding by synchrony), I. Tasaki (the discoverer of Saltatory conduction), and many others.
