Triglav is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the Julian Alps, with the elevation of 2,864 m. Its name means "three-headed" in Slovenian, which is often attributed to its shape. Triglav's shape can also be seen in the Slovenian coat of arms, on the flag of Slovenia and on the Slovenian 50 Eurocent coin.
