Greater Iran

This includes all of Iran, as well as parts of Afghanistan, Iraq, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, and Georgia (mainly Ossetia).
States to have ruled over greater Iran include the Achaemenid Empire, the Islamic Caliphates, and the Macedonian Empire of Alexander the Great.
